In the 24-25 new Twin campervans and new Compact Max motorhomes, Adria Mobil has managed to create the new cupholders feature, from waste recycled from its own manufacturing plant.
EPP is a material of the future, available today. A pioneering new form of cupboard construction, built from expanded polypropylene EPP, a highly durable, reusable, and recyclable material. It can be formed and brings mechanical strength, high resilience, good energy absorption, high thermal and sound insulation, at low weight.
EPP is an exciting material for potential wider use in Adria Mobil recreational vehicles and it feature in the new lounge of the new generation of Twin campervans, bringing extra volume for improved storage, in addition to its mechanical properties.
In July 2018, Adria Mobil joined a three-year European sustainability project aimed at transforming waste plastics and newspapers into new high-tech products for the automotive, packaging and construction industries.
Involved six partners from four European countries, namely: TECOS Technology Center and Adria Mobil and Omaplast from Slovenia, Aitiip Center from Spain, Ecopulp from Finland and ITB institute from Poland.
One interesting outcome for Adria Mobil are composite space holders, which have the potential to replace plastic space holders in future vehicles.
